For Your Information: Martin County School Board Renewal Property Tax, ​House Bill 7, Parent’s Bill of Rights​

In this presentation we offer some considerations to ponder before voting for the Martin County School Board ad valorem tax extension. This resolution will be on the primary ballot on August 23rd. While everyone wants what is best for our students, it's not JUST about the kids. It's also about getting bang for your buck and not simply throwing money at important school issues. We need results. Four years ago, the Martin County School District asked us to reach deeper into our pockets. Have we seen enough improvement to warrant extending this tax hike?
