Post Election Student Blues
Post Election Student Blues
There seems to be some college students who are reacting to the new President Elect with profound sadness.
One of the Ivy League Colleges, has given students a day off from studies. They provided Legos, coloring books and milk and cookies to their students that are so blue because they didn’t get their choice for the new President elect.
As a parent I understand that our children are basically on loan to us. Our job is to prepare them for the future so they can became autonomous. If I were paying those high costs right now for my children's college tuition, I would want my money back!
What are they teaching our children? We can’t always get what we want, but instead we get what we need!
These students don’t have to personally like our new president elect, but can look at his former promises made and promises kept when he was in the White House?
My hope for the up and coming holiday season is that we can all find a middle of the road way to communicate with our family, friends and acquaintances that can focus on the future seeming brighter for possibility of world peace.
Doesn’t everyone want to feel safe in the USA ?
Don’t we want to have less money go to these endless wars and more money to help out struggling American families and our Veterans?
Our new President elect is known for his approach to peace thru strength to our adversaries. They fear him. And that’s a good thing. Some of which are already reaching out to him to get ceasefires in these endless wars.
Isn’t that a win-win for all of us Americans?
I will as always pray for our new President elect . In the past I prayed for all former presidents even the ones I didn’t vote for to make the right decisions for our country.
It’s a privilege to live in our beautiful country!
