February 25th, Martin County BOCC Meeting Review

Watching dribs and drabs of today's meeting, I am shocked over what was being discussed - especially by a group which claims to be Republican. 

I guess you are not aware of the mandate Donald Trump achieved this past November? 

Since then, The Donald has dedicated himself, his cabinet and all of his appointees to the goal of slashing bureaucracy. Elon Musk is heading DOGE. 

                                                                        (Please look it up.)

The White House is dedicated to cutting the deep, dark state. People working at home - doing who knows what, - refusing to personally come to work in near-empty federal buildings.

The Martin County Board of Commissioners ought to each ask themselves prior to any vote or discussion prior to any vote: 

                                    Does this matter add to bureaucracy or reduce bureaucracy? 

Does having the county build/oversee a 'birthing center' add to bureaucracy?

Ask yourselves. Here's hoping you can arrive at a Republican response.

P.S. If not, in keeping with affordable/attainable housing, why not affordable cemetery lots (before all available land is paved over), and since we now have Live, Local, maybe County Funeral Homes? Really show those Republicans (a democrat/socialist thing or two).
